Your Rights as a Party Member
Kenya's Political Parties Act sets out protections that apply to every member of a registered political party — not just MUSA members.

Every member is entitled to be treated fairly, regardless of gender, ethnicity, region, or economic status.
Participation in Party Affairs
Members have the right to take part in the party's decision-making processes and internal elections.

Members can access the party's registered constitution, manifesto, and governing rules.
Freedom to Resign
Membership is voluntary — every member has the right to resign from the party at any time.
Our Stand Against Gender-Based Violence
As MUSA Party, we recognize the dignity and safety of every Kenyan as non-negotiable. We are aware of the prevalence of gender-based violence in our communities and openly discourage it in all its forms — physical, sexual, emotional and economic. MUSA is committed to a culture of respect and protection for women, men, and children, and to supporting policy that strengthens survivor support systems and accountability nationwide.
What Happens to Your Data When You Resign
If you choose to resign your MUSA membership, your personal data is retained for up to seven (7) days to allow party officials to review and process your resignation, after which it is permanently deleted from our systems, in line with the Data Protection Act, 2019.
